Friends! Summer is over and my life is actually slowing down (at least that’s what I’m telling myself). I have lots of things I want to recap and share from over the summer, but those will be coming in the next couple of weeks. Today, I just wanted to share a little printable I did over the weekend for Promotion Sunday. (post may contain affiliate links)

Last year, I gave out pencils with cute verse cards (check out that post HERE), which were a big hit. This year we had just finished our Cereal series (from Children’s Ministry Deals) and wanted to incorporate that with our “Back to School” gift. I purchased color changing spoons from Amazon and mini cereal boxes. I bagged them up in treat bags and stapled my verse card on top! Easy Peasy!

The idea was that our kids could eat these on their first day and be reminded through Psalm 143:8 that God loves them and desires to lead them through their day. Our kids loved getting the special treat and it added to the celebration that was Promotion Sunday. I removed our kidmin logo off these graphics, so you can easily use them for your class, church or your own kiddos! These would even make great lunch box cards.
